The patient and his or her family have the right to participate in their health care. During their hospitalization, they may make the necessary consultations with the treating physician about the patient's health status and procedures.
Information for your visits:
Family visits to patients are necessary in order to receive information about the evolution, procedures, treatments, grant necessary authorizations and to follow up on administrative procedures related to hospitalization. Our hospital suggestion is not to bring children under 12 years of age, except in special cases in which their visit is very important for the patient.
One companion per patient is allowed to stay in the rooms, except in the Intensive Care and Neonatology Unit. In case of restricted visits, we have the video calling service to guarantee contact with your loved ones. Pediatric patients hospitalized in the ward must be accompanied by a responsible adult, preferably a parent.
These rules may be modified in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Health or when epidemiological situations require it.
