Fundacáncer and Clínica Hospital San Fernando sign agreement to strengthen the Early Detection Program
As part of its commitment to the fight against cancer, Fundacáncer has signed a collaboration agreement with Clínica Hospital San Fernando, an alliance that will strengthen the Foundation's Early Detection Program, providing patients with greater access to preventive medical examinations vital for the early detection of cancer.
Through this agreement, patients treated by Fundacáncer will be able to access medical tests such as mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, among other studies, at the facilities of Clínica Hospital San Fernando. These tests are essential to detect cancer in its early stages, which significantly improves the chances of treatment and recovery.
Fundacáncer's Early Detection Program has been a pillar in the fight against cancer in Panama, and this alliance with Clínica Hospital San Fernando reinforces our commitment to providing access to crucial tests that can make a difference in the timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
"This agreement reinforces our commitment to offering effective tools for the prevention and early detection of cancer, allowing more people to benefit from timely diagnoses and receive the treatment they need," said Patricia Méndez Chiari, executive director of Fundacáncer.
