On July 4 and 5, the 1st International Congress on Quality and Patient Safety was held in Panama, organized by the Association of Private Hospitals of Central America, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
This congress was a key event that brings together experts from the medical-health field to discuss and promote best practices in medical care and raise standards of hospital care throughout the region.
During this event we had the participation of the Medical Coordinator of the Cerebral Infarction Program Dr. Constantino Taquis to talk to us about the evolution of the treatment of acute Cerebral Infarction and its implementation in a management excellence program in Panama. Dr. Karla Cornejo also shared her knowledge with us about digital tools in decision making.
This congress is a unique opportunity to strengthen international collaboration and advance the implementation of standards that benefit both patients and health professionals.
