Cerebral infarction is a sudden event, produced by a process of ischemia, during which a part of the brain dies. This process occurs due to a blockage of blood flow, which leads to a lack of oxygen and nutrients for the brain cells. If blood circulation is not promptly restored, it can leave severe consequences for the patient.
Our hospital developed a Comprehensive Center in 2019, which was certified in 2021 by the Joint Commission International for the management of Cerebral Infarctions and their possible neurological compromises. We are a team of professionals specialized in this matter whose objective is to provide each patient with the comprehensive care and treatment they deserve.
